“Shrimp Pho for Grandpa”

Shrimp pho sculpture made of mixed media from the Fall of 2021. Dedicated to my deceased paternal grandfather who used to own and operate a shrimp boat. The netting, chopsticks, and bowl are found objects, while the shrimp are made from plaster, shaded with chalk pastels, and coated in glaze. Finally, the noodles are made from wire that was spraypainted white, and the "pho" is made from resin and chalk pastels.
