Whimsical Woodwork

This project began with a cardboard model, which allowed me to trace onto the large rectangular pieces of wood, and streamline the process. I cut, shaved, and smoothed out every shape, including making nooks for each piece to slide into, before staining it with Varathane ‘s water-based Wood Stain and Poly. I then assembled the piece, which transforms as you walk around it.
